She was predeceased by: her parents, Mariano C. Mares and Gregoria Gonzales Mares; her husband Feliciano "Felix" Correa; her brothers, Felix Mares, Manuel Mares and Mariano Mares; and her grandsons, Joey Palacios, Eddy Correa Jr. and Cody Betancourt.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Palacios, Belma Alvarado (Elizar), Eddy Correa (Lucy Lopez), Bobby Correa, Belinda Correa, Larry Correa and Nancy Myers (Billy Joe). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
