It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Madis Kay Smith Keath of Hondo, Texas, born in Sabinal, Texas, who passed away on February 26, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Hinsdale Smith and Georgie Wentworth Smith; her husband Dan Keath; her parents-in-law, Medford and Dorris Keath; her sister Doris; and her brothers-in-law, Bob Kruger, Butch Keath and Marion Stewart.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Price Rushing and Kyle Livingston; her nephews, Clay Keath, Hunter Keath and Trey Witcher; her sons-in-law, Brad Livingston and Bobby Jack Rushing Madis; her daughters, Julie (Brad Livingston) and Sarah (Bobby Jack Rushing); her grandchildren, William Price Rushing, Susanna Kay Livingston, Macy Jane Livingston and Tessa Keath Rushing; her sister Janice Stewart of Sugarland; and her in-laws, Ann Keath of Sabinal, Jane and Seth Witcher of San Antonio. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Madis's memory to the First Baptist Church of Hondo or to the charity of your choice.
