Lillian Bendele Martin Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lillian Bendele Martin of Hondo, Texas, born in Devine, Texas, who passed away on January 21, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Louis and Theckla Ida Theis Bendele; her husband Wilkes Otto Martin; her children, Lynn Ray Martin and Peggy Martin Clark; her grandson Keith Jason Martin; and her siblings, Viola Hoover, Louis Bendele and Leo J. Bendele.

She is survived by: her children, Bruce Martin (Patricia) of Hondo, Richard Martin (Jessica) of San Antonio and Melinda Martin of Hondo; her children-in-law, Robin Clark of Uvalde and Wanda Martin of D'Hanis; and her siblings, Annie Hutzler of LaCoste and Levi Bendele Jr. of Colorado. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
