It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leanard Velasquez of Hondo, Texas, born in Goodland, Kansas, who passed away on January 23, 2021, at the age of 27, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his father Ruben Velasquez, Sr.; his wife Teresa Prado; his daughter Neveah Velasquez; his mother Patsy Velasquez; and his siblings, Anita Marquez (Jose), Ruben Velasquez, Jr. (Arlene) and Rene Velasquez (Alex). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
