He was predeceased by: his parents, Valente Hernandez and Francisca Nira Hernandez; and his siblings, Armando Hernandez and Carmen Hernandez. He is survived by: his wife Jesusa Gonzales Hernandez; his children, Deborah Garcia of San Antonio, Andrew Hernandez (Lynette) of Hondo and Kenneth Hernandez (Jennifer) of San Antonio; and his brother Arturo Hernandez. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
