It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juan Moreno Alvizo of Hondo, Texas, born in Castroville, Texas, who passed away on January 22, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Angel Alvizo, Sr. and Margarita Moreno Alvizo; and his brothers, Felipe Moreno, Angel Alvizo, Jr., Rosalio Alvizo, Torivio Alvizo and Robert Alvizo.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Alvizo of Hondo; his sons, John Alvizo (Sylvia Jimenez) of San Antonio, Jeffery Alvizo (Debbie Alvizo) of San Antonio, Jacob Alvizo (Rianna Alvizo) of Hondo, Jason Alvizo (Vanessa Pedraza-Alvizo) of San Antonio and Nathan Alvizo (Crystal Alvizo) of San Antonio; and his siblings, Jose'Joe'Alvizo (Maria) and Mary Resendez (Ricardo). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren.
