It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Alvarez (Hondo, Texas), who passed away on April 17, 2020, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Guadalupe L. Alvarez; and his brothers, James Edward Alvarez and Christopher Alvarez. He is survived by: his mother Rosa Valenzuela Alvarez; his children, Jennifer Alvarez, Alexis Alvarez, Alyssa Alvarez, John Alvarez, Jose Alvarez and Milo Alvarez; and his sisters, Elizabeth Sanchez (Ray), Mary Soliz (Rudy) and Syliva Ortiz (Miguel). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
