He was predeceased by: his parents, Donicio Sanchez and Refugia Oranday Sanchez; his wife Patricia Zapata Sanchez; his son Jesse Jr.; and his brothers, Jacinto, Pasqual and Ramon.
He is survived by: his children, Jesus Sanchez of Hondo, Ricky Sanchez (Mary Jane) of Hondo and Mary Zulaica (Albert) of Devine; and his siblings, Jose Sanchez and Petra Garza of Hondo. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
