With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Anne Balzen Marty of Hondo, Texas, who passed away on February 3, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin John Balzen and Elvera Cheeseman Balzen; her husband Wayne Marty; and her in-laws, Betty Balzen, Darryl and Judy Marty.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherry; her son-in-law Jimmy Hoog of Hondo; her grandchildren, Jennifer Turner (Mark), Matthew Hoog (Julia) and Eric Hoog (Kaelyn); her great grandchildren, Francesca Turner, Everett Turner, Lane Hoog, Kade Hoog and Leighton Hoog; and her brother Wayne Balzen. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
