He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Juan Contreras and Josefa Contreras; his wife Petra Contreras; and his children, Irma Santillano, Gloria Valdilles (Senon, Jr.), Josie Perez, Mary Dominguez (Jerry), Albert Contreras (Anita), Ernesto Contreras (Lupe) and Lupe Contreras, Jr. (Lupita). He was also cherished by numerous sisters and brothers; 16 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
