She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Collins Gibb and Arminda L. Franklin Gibb; her husband Francis Emil Herman; and her siblings, Annie Laurie Henry and Walter Franklin Gibb.
She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Haynie (Dwayne); and her grandsons, Kenneth Haynie (Amy) and Michael Haynie (Rebecca). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
