It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernestina Alarcon of Hondo, Texas, who passed away on January 29, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilberto Rivera and Angelica Rivera; her husband Felix N. Alarcon; and her siblings, Serapia, Gilberto Rivera and Domingo Rivera.
She is survived by: her sisters, Maria De Jesus, Natalia Fraga, Benita Rivera and Socorro Torres (Ricardo); her sister-in-law Maria Mercedes; her brothers, Santiago Rivera, Jose M. Rivera and Juan Rivera; and her children, Evangelina Alarcon Reil (Henry), Maria A. Hernandez, Gloria R. Alarcon-Berry (Spencer), Felix R. Alarcon Jr. (Kathy), Ernesto R. Alarcon (Misako) and Omar Alarcon.
