It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eluteria Sanchez Tapia of Hondo, Texas, born in Crystal City, Texas, who passed away on April 24, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pilar Sanchez and Sapopa Trinidad Sanchez; her husband Rafael Tapia; her son Reynaldo Tapia; and her siblings, Juanita Cipriano, Lucia Hernandez, Genoveva Gomez, Domingo, Felix, Pedro and Eduardo Sanchez.
She is survived by: her children, Rudy Tapia of Hondo, Rogelio Tapia (Jovita) of Harlingen, Elenita Miranda (Danny) of Hondo, Elsa Tapia (Roxanne) of San Antonio and Esther Maria Crumbly (James) of North Carolina. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
