He is survived by: his wife Lupe Reyes Ytuarte; his daughter Maria Teresa Vasquez (Hector); his grandchildren, Michelle V. Palacios, Jenifer V. Vargas and Hector Edward Vasquez, Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Julian Vargas, Julissa Vargas and Soraya Palacios.
