It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dominga Marez Garza of Hondo, Texas, who passed away on May 12, 2022, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Marez and Concepcion Perez Marez; her husband Filomeno Garza; her children, Magdeleno, Patricio, Ramon and Erminia Garza; and her siblings, Gregoria Zabala, Evangelina Cuellar, Pascuala Ontiveros and Isidro Mares.
She is survived by: her children, Luciano Sanchez, Pedro "Pete" Garza, Pablo Garza and Josefina "Josie" Ruiz; and her children-in-law, Elena Sanchez, Josie Garza, Ida Garza, Petra Garza and Alfonso Ruiz. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, 40 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
