He is survived by: his wife Rosa Gauna Garcia of Hondo; his children, Manuel Garcia (Olga) of San Antonio, James Garcia (Anna) of San Antonio, Mario Garcia of San Antonio, Virginia "Ginger" Garcia of Minnesota and Maria Luisa Rico of Florida; his stepchildren, Carlos Navarro (Anita) of Amarillo, Nellie Benavides (Ricardo) of Hondo and Tina Wood (James) of Amarillo; and his brother Blasido Garcia of North Carolina. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
