He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Felix Gurrusquieta and Maria Luisa Gurrusquieta; his sons, Margarito "Compita" Gurrusquieta, Andres Gurrusquieta, SSgt Javier Gurrusquieta and Alberto "Chato" Gurrusquieta; and his granddaughter Andrea Gurrusquieta.
He is survived by: his wife Angelina Gurrusquieta; his children, Felix Gurrusquieta, Lorena Garza (Ernest), Erica Gurrusquieta, Elvia Gurrusquieta and Victoria Gurrusquieta; and his siblings, Erica Garcia (Javier), Adela Vasquez (Anacleto), Ramona Gurrusquieta, Angel Aguirre (Angel), Francisca Bautista, Augustine Gurrusquieta (Julia), Severiano Gurrusquieta (Maria Luisa) and Gelacio Gurrusquieta (Bertha). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 7 great-granchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
