He was predeceased by : his mother Mildred Carol Ludwig (Harmon). He is survived by : his father James Ludwig of Defiance, Ohio; his wife Kanita Ludwig of Holland; his children, Justin Ludwig (Ashley) of Pleasanton, Amanda Redman (Michael) of Holland and Kayla Laws (Colt) of Holland; his grandchildren, Stetson, Kade Ludwig, Aiden, Ty, Willow Redman, Bryndle and Clay Laws; and his brother Mike Ludwig of Defiance, Ohio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and special cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home (2525 N Main St, Belton, TX 76513). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Greathouse Cemetery (2393 FM93, Temple, TX 76502).

Memorials may be made to the Holland Volunteer Fire Department or Greathouse Cemetery Association.
