He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Lynn and Marva "Kay" Karl (Splawn). He is survived by: his daughters, ShyAnn Karl of Temple, Rebecca Karl of Temple, Kourtney Karl of Academy and Elizabeth Karl of Temple; his sister Brandi Soliz (Brandon); his granddaughter Layla Salinas of Temple; and his nieces and nephews, Haydon, Brooke, Kaitlynn, Sophia, Brock, Zachary, Jacob and Ashley.
