Andy Horton wrote a sympathy message

“I knew Smokey many years ago when we worked together. What a tough sob! Smokey could out work just about anybody. And he was GOOD too ! He knew what he was doing. And nice...such a darn nice guy, everybody liked him. He had this laugh....kind of a giggle actually. He was funny. Smokey made the day go by faster and he always made things better. I lost track of him and his family. But I always remembered some of the things we did. Such a great guy. His IS missed. Andy Horton”
