She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Sr. Carrier and Mary Carrier (Alma); and her siblings, John Carrier Sr., Ella Mae Stewart, Nathalee Disnuke (Dorothy), Thomas Carrier Sr., Gerald Carrier Sr., Willie Carrier Jr. and Frank Carrier.
She is survived by: her children, Nedra Carrier of Hockley, Gerald Carrier (Eva) of Lake Charles and Ravine Reed (Anthony) of Houston, Texas; her grandchildren, Jamaal Shelton (Jacqueline) of Beaumont, Jacinta Shelton of Dallas and Shaterica Lloyd of Houston; her great grandchildren, Erin Barnwell, Terius Barnwell, Elyse Barnwell, Jalise Shelton, Maisen and Maddex Rhodes; and her siblings, Terry Carrier (Margaret) of Harrisburg, Patricia Parker (Michael) of Harrisburg, Conzy Carter (Johnny) of Harrisburg and Kempa Carriere of Glen Burnie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Gertie Lee Carriere, 83, of Hockley, Texas transitioned peacefully from this life on December 7, 2024, leaving a legacy of love, faith, and charity.
