He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald James Schmidt Sr. and Marjorie Dobie Schmidt; and his daughter Carrie Schmidt. He is survived by: his son Jason Schmidt (Linda Schmidt); his siblings, Sherry Havelka (Mike) and Stanley Schmidt (Debbie); and his grandchildren, Peyton, Kaedyn, Brogan, Rowdi, Twyster and Kooper. He is also survived by Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
