She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Monroe Johnson and Elizabeth Janie Morgan; her stepfather Samuel Whitehead; and her siblings, Roy, Christian (Sonny), Ann, Phoebe, Alice and Dorothy.

She is survived by: her children, Wendell Wiley II (Stephanie Wiley) and Angela; her grandchildren, Zachary, Summer (Tyler), Amber (Sebastian), Grace, Alyssa and Alexis; and her great grandchild Alexander. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
