We are sad to announce that on September 15, 2019, at the age of 81, Shelby Brantley (Hitchcock, Texas), born in Tallassee, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Brantley and Ann Brantley; his sister Brenda Fortenberry; and his son Jerry Brantley. He is survived by: his children, Joey Brantley (Laura), Ruth Garcia (Jerry) and David Brantley; his siblings, Larry Brantley (Shirley), Rex Brantley (Linda), Jean McGuire, Diane Kirkland, Pat Chesson and Leslie Blake (Bruce); and his pet Bo Diddley. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren.
