He is survived by: his wife Ruby Hicks Hunter; and his children, Juanita Lestrick (Edwin), Walter Hunter, Jeffrey Hunter and Mona Smith. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, in laws, goddaughters.
