He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee and Dorothy Mae Giles (Swartz); his son Michael Giles, Jr.; and his siblings, Roy Walter Giles and Anita.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lynn Giles; his daughters, Missy Mason Giles and Lynn Marie Watson (Bruce); his sisters-in-law, Janet Downtain (Mark), Vickie Clark (Robert) and Donna Ulmer (Jay); and his grandsons, Christopher Blade Giles, Nicolas Chase Giles and Zachary Aaron Watson.
Memorials in the form of donations may be made in Michael's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
