It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Manuel Rojas Jr. (Hitchcock, Texas), born in Goliad, Texas, who passed away on December 12, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Rojas, and David Rojas, Sr. (Mansuella); and his son-in-law Donald Mittelsted. He is survived by: his wife Concepcion "Connie" Rojas; his children, Ruben Rojas (Cari) of Santa Fe, Raul Rojas (Linda) of Bayou Vista, Ray Rojas (Denise) of Santa Fe, Louisa Taylor (Richard) of Santa Fe and Elizabeth Mittelsted of Santa Fe; and his brothers, Daniel Rojas of Santa Fe and LaLa Israel Rojos of Galveston. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.

Memorials in the form of donations may be made in Manuel's name to Alzheimer's Association, 225 North Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, Illinois 60601.
