He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kimsey and Vivian Fay Pitts (Ballard); his wife Hazel E. Pitts; his children, Kimsey Edward Pitts and Joann Pitts; and his siblings, Travis Pitts and Dorothy Mummert.
He is survived by: his siblings, Don Pitts (Linda) of Wichita Falls, John Pitts of Wichita Falls, Charles Pitts (Shirley) of Wichita Falls, Alva Ray Pitts (Connnie) of Bridgeport, Reba Nell of Norman and Judy Menasco (Josh) of Hugo, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Kimsey Edward Pitts, Jr. (Ester) of Germany and Brian Kimsey Pitts (Renee). He is also survived by several step-children; 26 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren.
