It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florine Robinson (Hitchcock, Texas), born in Lufkin, Texas, who passed away on September 11, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos "Red" and Ettie Slawson (Croft); her husband Norton Frank Robinson, Jr.; her son-in-law Freddy VanNess; and her brothers, Randalle Clint Slawson, Jerry Wayne Slawson and Charles Arthur Slawson.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Norton Robinson (Patricia) of Santa Fe, Norma Kay Pollard (Bill) of Texas City and Susan Marie VanNess of Jacksonville; and her grandchildren, Erin Pollard, Jessica Smith, Ryan Pollard, Reagen Pollard, Whitney Robinson, Matthew Robinson and Thomas Robinson. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
