It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Geneva Divin of Hitchcock, Texas, born in Bay City, Texas, who passed away on October 1, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Fabrygel and Emilie Fabrygel; and her siblings, Franklin Fabrygel, Joe Henry Fabrygel, Tina Fabrygel and Georgia Natho.
She is survived by: her daughters, Becky (Suzanne) and Hitchcock; her husband Herbert Frank Divin; her siblings, Mildred Pustejovsky, Ann Ferguson, Gayle Brinkman, Barbara Keszler, Chris, Jerry, Daniel and Larry Fabrygel; her children, Rebecca Hernandez, Suzanne Newsom and Jason Divin; her children-in-law, Martin Hernandez, Glen Newsom and Jill Divin; and her grandchildren, Christi Rehm, Tara Garza, Brittany Soto, Spencer, Nicholas Newsom, Tiffany, Zachary, Westley Divin, Hayden of Connor, AJ, Arianna, Kadynn and Audrey. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
There will be a visitation from Noon until 2:00 p. m. with the service following immediately after from 2:00 p. m. until 3:00 p. m. Due to executive orders from the Governor effective July 3, 2020 Everyone attending will be required to wear a face mask and to social distance.
