With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Thomas Hampton (Hitchcock, Texas), born in Brevard, North Carolina, who passed away on October 14, 2019 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Dancy and Martha Bishop Hampton (Osborne); his wife Helen Marie Hampton (Calahan); and his siblings, Martha Hampton, James William Hampton and Jack Hampton.

He is survived by: his friend William Hagee; his children, Mark Joseph Hampton (Glenna Young) of Norman, OK and Kathy Elizabeth Taliaferro (Jeff Campbell) of Bayou Vista; his sister Julia Elizabeth "Bette" McKeldin of Baltimore, MD; his granddaughters, Jessica Suzanne Smith (Orlando) of LaMarque and Lisa Anne Lohmann (John Courtney) of Santa Fe; and his great grandchild Layla Smith.
