With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Hall Pettit (Hitchcock, Texas), born in Silas, Alabama, who passed away on April 30, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommy Lewis and Annie Laurie Lewis; her husbands, Norris Hall and Bill Pettit; her siblings, Amos, Lamar Lewis, Doris Reed and Tommie Ann Law; and her grandson-in-law Hector Martinez.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Hall, Timothy Hall (Lee), Dan Hall (Wendy), Lisa Pannick, Teresa Pettit and Janet Bass; her sister-in-law Val Lewis; and her grandchildren, Ben, Emma, Amy, Lauren, Jason, Heather, Rick, Ashton Duffy, Andre Duffy, Jr., Glory, Shazib, Emilee, Elijah, Caelin, Terri, Nathan, Molly, Elizabeth, Matt, Clifton, Kacie, Mikey, Nicole, Andrew, Ashley, Houston, Dominique, Stephanie and Sophia. She is also survived by many great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
