He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Sullivan and Eunice Lynn Sullivan (Tacker); and his siblings, Sherry "Diann" Hammer (Jim Hammer) and Edgar "Eddie" Sullivan (Becky). He is survived by: his sons, Sean Patrick (Liyan) and Christian Sullivan; and his siblings, Linda Loutherback, Cindy (Keith Cooper), John L. Sullivan Jr. (Vicki) and Billy Sullivan (Marina). He is also survived by four grandchildren; and, numerous nieces, nephews, and, friends.
