He was predeceased by: his parents, James Mounger Bowles and Amy Margarete Lucas (Rice); and his sister Mamie Frank. He is survived by: his wife Susan Bowles; his sons, Richard Bowles (Temeki) of League City, Randy Bowles of Houston, Matthew Bowles (Patty) of Angleton and Marcus Bowles (Katie) of Pearland; his grandchildren, Lexi, Lauralai, Ayden, Jasper, Jace and T. J.; his nephew Rick Frank (Deanna); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hillary of Katy and Carl Frank of Traskwood, AR..
James was blessed with a generous life saving donation from a family who had lost a loved one.
