He was predeceased by: his parents, Weymond Dietrich and Martha Dietrich (Cermak); his former wife Patty Dietrich; his sister Martha Ann Madsen; and his brother-in-law Ken Madsen.
He is survived by: his wife Renee Dietrich of Hilltop Lakes; his daughter Lisa Mager (Tim) of Magnolia; and his stepsons, Kevin Fravel (Laura) of Spearfish, SD and Donald Thompson (Meg) of Prattville, AL. He is also survived by one grandchild; one great-granddaughter; four step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandson.
