He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Josephine Alvarez (Kris), Jessica Dora Alvarez, Kristina Lee Petterssen, Raymond Charles Alvarez and Shirley Suzanne Gibson (Chris); his siblings, Roy Medina, Blas Alvarez, Jr. and Christina Armstrong (Terry); and his grandchildren, Alexis, Jace, Mikey, Cavan, Rain, Navie, Rio, Sidney, Luke, Rylee and Vivian. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
