He is survived by: his wife Deedie Slaydon of Hilltop Lakes, Texas; his children, Martha Barton (Eric) of Bryan, Texas, Susan Bradbery (Tony) of Henderson, Texas, Damon Slaydon (Tara) of College Station, Texas and Scott Slaydon (Michele) of Midlothian, Texas; his stepdaughter Kim Moritz (Chad) of Donie, Texas; and his sister Frances Anne Jouban of DeRidder, Louisiana. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
