She was predeceased by: her parents, Walker Mitchell and Dulcie Irvin (Aldridge); her son Charles Mikiel Lawrence; and her siblings, W. M., Ross, Frank, Montrue, Doty, Marie, Ann and Edna.
She is survived by: her sister Dell Irvin; her sister-in-law Joyce Ann Irvin; her granddaughter Lauren Lawrence McGrain (Kyle); and her great grandchild Michael David. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
