She was predeceased by: her parents, D. R. "Buster" Carrington and Mildred "Millie" Carrington; her stepfather John Walters; her brother Terry Carrington; her uncles, Bud Cranor and Ron Cleveland; and her mother-in-law Mary Joann Minson.
She is survived by: her husband Alan Minson of Hillsboro, Texas; her children, Tonya Stady of Albuquerque and Jonathan Minson (Kaylee) of Huntsville, Texas; her grandchildren, Zoey Stady, Jentry Minson and Jima Minson; her siblings, Scott Carrington, Sherrie Duenas and Carrie Price (Andy); her stepbrother Johnny Walters; her sisters-in-law, Jean Ann Carrington and Shirley Minson; her father-in-law Murle Minson; her brother-in-law Donald Minson (Betty); and her aunts, Mary and Linda. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hill Regional Hospital in Vickie's name to offset the medical expenses.
