She was predeceased by: her parents, Yuel Dick Bessent and Ophelia McLanahan (McClanahan). She is survived by: her children, James Perry Redding Jr. (Debbie) of Spring, Richard Glenn "Dick" Redding of Hillsboro, Leslie Suzanne Redding Bond (Pat) of Hillsboro and John Kelly Redding of Wimberley; her brother-in-law Jack Redding (Pat) of The Woodlands; and her aunt Frances Redding Stepp of Bellevue, Washington. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and other extended family.
