We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2025, at the age of 85, Sallie Platt (Hillsboro, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Sallie departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Sallie may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Sallie leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Murray Crowder and Sallie Crowder. She is survived by: her husband Morris Platt; her children, Renetta Key (Mike) and Morris Walter Platt, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Franklin Platt, Stephen Platt, Jessica Hardin, Justin Key and Jake Key. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors (2495 Corsicana Hwy, Hillsboro, TX 76645).
