He was predeceased by: his parents, Iola Versluis and Marquart. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Deborah and John; his wife Fern Versluis (Colson); his children, Diedre Anne Versluis of Aurora, CO, Deborah Anne Knoll (Jason) of Hendersonville, TN and John Robert Versluis (Kate) of Hillsboro, TX; his grandchildren, Ashleigh Harris (BJ) of Friendship, TX and Emma Knoll; his great grandchild Deacon Harris; his sister-in-law Loretta Lutz (Mel); his niece Heather Lashmett (Darren); and his great-nephews, Pake Morford and Breck Lashmett of Delta, CO. He is also survived by many other cousins and relatives.
