He was predeceased by: his parents, John Whitney and Ruby Mae Reid (Pitts). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Keefer; his siblings, J. W., Melton, Roy, Melbourne Reid, Francis Hilliard, Mary McLean, Lou Nell Steward, Dolores Burchfield and Will (Geneva Reid) of Keller, Texas; and his children, DeWayne (Cecilia Reid) of Whitney, Whit (Emma Reid) of League City, Aaron (Lavette Reid) of Hemet, Johnny (Jamie Reid) of Maddock, Chris Reid, Darrin (Bekah), Dakota Reid of Hillsboro and Mary. He is also survived by twenty-eight grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
Norvell DeWayne Reid, 86, of Hillsboro, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, May 13, 2023, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease.
