She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelle Hammond and Frank Hammond; her sister Bettye Sue Peterson; and her son Donald Eastland Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Susan Nelle Polansky (Adam); her granddaughter Nelle; her children, Sarah Alice Eastland (David Hooker) and Daniel Eastland; and her grandson Christopher Eastland (Wendy Blackburn Eastland).
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors (2495 Corsicana Hwy, Hillsboro, TX 76645). A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Ridge Park Cemetery.
