She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Airheart and James E. "Jim" Gaston; her sister Judy Story; and her sister-in-law Mary Frank Gaston. She is survived by: her husband John Randolph "Randy" Carter of Brownsboro; her daughter Jennifer Carter Davin; her son-in-law Philip Davin of Tyler; her grandson Zachary Davin of College Station; her brother Dr. Jerry Gaston of Bryan; and her siblings-in-law, Larry Story of Ft. Worth and Carolyn Kemp Carter of Richardson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins and numerous other dear family members.
