He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Castillo and Antonia Castillo; his wife Yomar Castillo; his brother Armando Castillo; and his granddaughter Ernestina Salazar.

He is survived by: his children, Juan Castillo of Florida, Joe Castillo of Whitney, Marisela Rodriguez (Lupe) of Bynum, Marcos of Hillsboro, Mary Lou Rodriguez (Eddie) of Hubbard, Alex Castillo of Round Rock and Debora Abrego (Emmanuel) of Hillsboro. He is also survived by his three sisters and six brothers and many loving nieces and nephews and other friends.
