Jonell Permenter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jonell Permenter of Hillsboro, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester V. Martin and Lillian Orea Martin (Cockrell); her husband Mack Permenter; her sons, Martin Keith Custer, Joe Anthony Custer and Bobby Eugene Custer; and her siblings, Lester Martin and Peggy Barnes.
She is survived by: her sisters, Lillian Laverne Nyuo (Gary) and Oneida Yvonne Akin (Thurman); and her grandchildren, Julie Custer, Amanda Custer, Clifford Custer, Bryan Custer and Daniel Custer. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors (2495 Corsicana Hwy, Hillsboro, TX 76645). A graveside service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Peoria Cemetery (2421 Farm to Market Rd 1947, Hillsboro, TX 76645).
