With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Harrell Anderson in Hillsboro, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 3, 2024 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Harrell Anderson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Janette Daily; his parents, C. D. Anderson (Commodore) and Freddie Anderson (Battles); his son Gerry Don; his son-in-law Duane; and his granddaughter Amanda.
He is survived by: his children, Valerie Anderson of Mexia and James; his daughter-in-law Susan Anderson of Mexia; his daughter Angie Pippin of Denton; his sister Carolyn Rawlings of Hillsboro; his grandchildren, Paige, Cody, Windy, Rick, Micah and Brooke; and his great grandchildren, Chapin, Peyton, Tatum, Palmer and Hollin.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Blair Stubbs Funeral Home (605 S McKinney St, Mexia, TX 76667). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Ridgepark Cemetery N. Waco.
