She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Johnson Sr. and Harriet Session; her grandparents, Ira Brownlow and Bertha Brownlow; and her brother Roy McChristian Jr..
She is survived by: her former husband Melvin Vincent; and her children, Altaniece Brown, Melvilyn Watford (Michael), Roslyn Vincent, Janine Lucas and Melvin Vincent II. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
She received her religious foundation at the Faith Tabernacle as a child under the pastorage of her grandfather Reverend Ira Brownlow.
