He is survived by: his children, Jay Sonnenburg (Margaret) of San Antonio, Janet Sonnenburg of Mesquite and Brenda Tekell of Logan, Utah; his grandchildren, Jonah Sonnenburg, Jillian Sonnenburg, Emma Kate Sonnenburg, Chance Tekell, Haley McLaughlin and Kaylin Tekell; his great grandchild Logan McLaughlin; and his close friend Brenda Trompler. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
